Sunshine, warm air, blossoming trees… Spring and Easter on the Costa Blanca have something truly soothing about them. Our local partner Ania visited Caregiver Ksenia, bringing Easter flavours from Poland – sausage, Polish sour rye soup (żurek) and horseradish. Ksenia has been working with a British family for over two months and has settled in beautifully. The Senior says that without her, she wouldn’t be able to stay in her beloved home in Spain. That day, Ania and Ksenia spent time on ordinary, yet very important things: a walk together, a visit to the local market, and coffee in the old town. It’s exactly this kind of “being together” that brings calm and a sense of closeness. The chance to speak Polish, pause for a moment, and cook something that tastes like home… -

January on the Costa Blanca is a season of change and new beginnings. While the weather here can be a little unpredictable at this time of the year, one thing remains certain – it’s still much warmer than in Poland or Germany. For us, January has also brought beautiful new beginnings. We’ve started new collaborations with families who have chosen Costa Blanca as their permanent home after retirement. As time passes, living independently can require a little more support and trusted local presence. That’s where we step in – gently, respectfully, and always close to both the Senior and their family. Recently, Ksenia arrived to support one of our new clients – a senior living here alone. She was warmly welcomed at the airport by our local partner Ania. The first moments in a new place matter so much and knowing that someone is there for you can make all the difference. In a touching gesture of gratitude, Ksenia brought Polish sweets for Ania to say thank you for such a warm welcome. It’s these small moments that remind us what care is truly about – trust, connection and being there for one another. -
In November 2025, we supported a smooth caregiver handover for one of our seniors on the Costa Blanca. After 46 days of care, Ania passed over the daily routines and key details to Justyna, who arrived to continue the assignment. They spent a full day together sharing experience and practical tips, helping ensure continuity and comfort for the senior. Upon arrival, Justyna was welcomed by our local partner, Anna. who provided support during her first hours in Spain. After a short walk and a warm tea on a particularly cold, windy day, they travelled together to the senior’s home, where Justyna began her assignment and Ania could return to Poland for a well-earned rest. Moments like this — sincere goodbyes, warm welcomes and small gestures — remind us how important stable, human support is for seniors living alone, and how valuable local coordination is for both families and caregivers. -

We’re excited to share that our local partners, Ania and Corina, took part in JATA 2025 – a special annual event organised by ATERIMA CARE in Germany. This year’s theme, “strong, modern, close to people,” set the tone for a day full of meaningful conversations, new ideas and a shared commitment to supporting families with warmth and professionalism. We explored how to look ahead and shape the future of care together. For Ania and Corina, it was a wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues from Poland and Germany, exchange experience, and feel the strength of our international community. At Aterima Care Spain we organise senior's meds as well as fix their kitchen light. We regurally work with our pharmacy partner located in Jesús Pobre, to help prepare and organise senior’s medication. Therefore, it is easier for our live-in caregivers to follow doses and track refills. And when something needs to be fixed, like a kitchen lamp, we coordinate a quick repair so the home stayed bright, safe and comfortable. Everything with a help of our local partner Robert Aterima. Because we believe real care lies in the little things. -
